Sessional Facilitator

NLDCHP aims to encourage individuals and families to lead healthier lifestyles to improve their health and wellbeing.   Sessional facilitator will deliver interactive health promotion activities at a range of school and community venues across North Belfast.

 Sessional Facilitator: Essential Criteria

Sessional Facilitator will be required to deliver a range of children’s and parent/carer programmes in statutory and community settings across North Belfast.

• Knowledge, understanding and interest in health promotion/prevention activities
• Ability to deliver health information relevant to target audience whilst still delivering key programme outcomes
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills- the ability to meet the presentational, written and verbal demands of the post
• Ability to use initiative and amend programmes according to needs of target audience
• Co facilitation skills – all programmes are co-facilitated so flexibility is essential for programme preparation purposes
• IT capabilities to deliver programme content
• Administrative Abilities to complete monitoring, invoicing and evaluation requirements
• Safeguarding awareness and willingness to undergo enhanced Access NI check
• Ability to travel to the various venues to meet programme requirements-primarily in North Belfast
• Candidates must be available to work a flexible rota which may include evenings and weekends
• Hold a full drivers license and have access to own transport for work purposes
