Retail and Administrative Support Assistant/s

1.      Introduction

The Craft & Design Collective is seeking Retail & Administrative Support Assistant/s to work during November 2014 to 31 March 2015.

2.      Terms and Conditions

The person/s are required to be self-employed and to invoice the Craft & Design Collective at the end of each month for the days that they have worked.  In the first instance this contract for service is until 31 March 2015.  The Craft & Design Collective can guarantee successful applicant/s at least 5 days work per month.  Extension of the contract for service is dependent on finance being available.

Payment:  £7 per hour | £56 per day (NJC Payscales, Scale 1, Point 10, 1/4/2013)

Annual Leave & Sick Pay:  There is no entitlement to paid annual leave or sick pay.

Hours of Work:  The successful applicant/s will be asked to work on agreed specific days (1-3 per week) from 10am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday.  The postholder must be willing and able to work outside normal office hours on Thursday evenings until 8pm.  Some week-end work will be required.

Office Location:  The post is based at Space CRAFT the organisation’s office, shop, gallery and exhibition, 9b The Fountain Centre, College Street, Belfast, BT1 6ET  GO UP THAT ESCALATOR!

4.  Shortlisting & Interviews

Shortlisting will be carried out using the requirements in the Person Specification from the information supplied in your CV and your completed Application Form.  Interviews will be held week beginning Monday 27 October 2014.
