2x Relief Support Workers £7.24 per hour
(flexible hours)
Come and work as part of a dedicated team that provides one-to-one housing support for 24 people living in their own homes; as well as helping them become more connected within their local community
4x Female Relief Support Workers £7.24 per hour
(flexible hours to include sleep-overs)
Due to the needs of the people supported, vacancies for Support Workers of a specific gender are required. For these posts, gender is a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with Article 10(2)(b)(i) of the Sex Discrimination (NI) Order 1976 (as amended).
We wish to recruit a team of caring and committed people to provide one-to-one support for a wonderful young woman, as she moves from her family home to live in her own flat in Newry, You will be helping her develop independent living skills e.g. shopping and cooking, planning her weekly schedule, and take part in a range of social activities. You will also have the opportunity to support people with the Southern Area Housing Support Service.

* 6 months' experience providing care or support for someone
* A positive attitude about people with a learning disability, acquired brain injury and people on the autistic spectrum
* The ability to see possibilities, where others see problems
