The Integrated Education Fund is an independent charitable trust established in 1992. The IEF works to raise funds locally, nationally and internationally both to provide a financial foundation for the development and growth of integrated education and to increase opportunities for sharing in education across the community in Northern Ireland. The Fund’s current development plan, Towards Tomorrow Together, describes the work we are carrying out to help make integration not separation the norm in Northern Ireland’s schools. We need a Public Affairs Manager to join an experienced and dedicated team focused on this goal.

The Public Affairs Manager will assist in the implementation of the IEF Advocacy Strategy in support of the IEF’s objectives and priorities. Candidates must have two years experience of both taking a leading role in the development and implementation of policy, and developing successful relationships with key decision makers in the public, private and/or voluntary sectors. Experience of developing and implementing an external lobbying programme is also essential for this role. In addition, candidates must have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information and advise on the political and legislative issues which would impact on the work of the IEF, the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, and the skills to produce written documentation to a high standard.
