The Cedar Foundation is seeking to recruit the following staff member:
Project Officer REF: 16/078/PO/WEB
To support disabled people to secure sustainable employment opportunities and achieve positive outcomes through participation in programmes which Cedar is contracted to deliver by the Department for Employment and Learning (e.g. Specialist Disability Support). Workable (NI), Work Connect, Cedar delivers the Workable (NI) and Work Connect projects in collaboration with a number of other disability sector organisations in the Supported Employment Solutions (SES) partnership.
Hours: 20 hours per week
Contract: Temporary initially to 31st March 2017
Location: An Stóras, Ballybot House, 28 Cornmarket, Newry BT35 8BG
Salary: 3 point scale commencing on £20,849 per annum pro rata
Essential:
Minimum QCF level 5/Degree or equivalent level professional qualification
Minimum of 1 years’ experience in delivering training or working in supported employment or recruitment
OR
Minimum QCF level 3 or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as above in delivering training, or working in supported employment or recruitment
AND
Hold a full current driving licence valid for use in the UK and Ireland and have access to a car on appointment
This criterion will be waived in the case of a suitable applicant who has a disability which prohibits them from driving but who is able to organise suitable alternative arrangements in order to meet the requirements of the post in full.
Desirable:
Experience of working with people with disabilities or other disadvantaged groups
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access
