The post-holder will be responsible for the operational delivery and management of Extern’s role in the NI Syrian VPRS. This will involve project management and operational oversight of Extern’s Syrian VPRS Support Service team.

EXTERN is a large charity which helps to improve the lives of children and adults facing challenging circumstances and makes communities safer across the island of Ireland.

We work in partnership with a variety of organisations including housing, criminal justice, heath, social services, education, employment and voluntary and community sectors to deliver a range of services.

This Refugee Support Service team work in partnership with a consortium of voluntary and community sector partners, and the statutory sector, to support refugees who are resettling in NI under the Syrian Vulnerable Persons Relocation Scheme.

 

We are currently recruiting for the following position:

Project Manager

Salary: Grade 6 (£32,146 per annum - fixed salary point)

Location: Based in Belfast but with a regional remit so travel throughout Northern Ireland will be required

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday - Sunday (including paid and unpaid breaks)

Contract Status: Continuous, subject to funding
