The Youth Safety Network (YSN) is an ambitious and innovative programme which seeks to empower young people to address issues around the safety and well being of young people and their communities. The Youth Safety Network is managed by a consortium of organizations including Challenge for Youth, the Terry Enright Foundation and Northern Ireland Alternatives.

The Network works alongside statutory and voluntary agencies to provide community and family support and deliver a range of educational initiatives and developmental interventions. 

The Youth Safety Network would like to appoint a Programme Manager for the project; the successful applicant will be employed by The Terry Enright Foundation and based in its Belfast office located at 181 Donegall Street, Belfast BT1 2FJ. 

Contract:         Fixed-term contract until 31st December 2014.

Salary: JNC pt. 24 – 27 starting at £30,783 per annum 

The Programme Manager will: 

  • be responsible for the operational management of the project and will be expected to work closely with the consortium partner organisations and the Youth Safety Network steering group to influence the strategic development of the project. 
  • be responsible for the planning, delivery and reporting of Youth Safety Network’s outputs, ensuring operational effectiveness in delivering activities/programmes on time, to specification and to budget.
  • provide leadership and support for project staff  
  • manage the operational budget and ensure that the necessary resources are in place
  • be expected to initiate and maintain effective working partnerships with key stakeholders and partners.
