The Prince's Trust is a youth charity that helps change young lives. We give practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills, such as confidence and motivation. We work with 11 to 30-year-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law. We have helped more than 825,000 young people since 1976 and support 100 more each working day. More than three in four young people we helped last year moved into work, education or training. We are committed to equality and valuing diversity.

Team is a full-time three month personal development programme for 16-24 year olds largely delivered through community work.

Its primary aim is to build confidence, motivation and skills to help unemployed young people return to education or move into employment.  It is delivered locally by partner organisations, known as delivery partners.

You will possess excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication and IT skills and an ability to work with a wide range of external and internal customers. Excellent planning and organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities are also essential. You should have experience and an interest in working with young people and a good knowledge of local community networks and organisations which can provide progression opportunities and positive outcomes for young people.

The Prince's Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to apply for an enhanced DBS check.
