Programme Development Lead

The Programme Development Lead will contribute expertise and vision to substantially grow our work, meet our objectives, increase our impact and develop Youthlife’s sustainability. You will provide experience and support to help develop and deliver wide ranging Children’s and Young People’s programmes, in response to need and in collaboration with a range of partners and stakeholders. Three key objectives of this role are:

• Develop Youthlife as a significant provider of high quality Counsellor-led services, supporting children and young people aged 5-25 affected by bereavement, separation and loss.

• Enable and empower a diverse range of young people to effectively contribute to and shape Youthlife’s work, so that it is directly informed by the lived experiences of children and young people and has maximum impact and reach, in line with the Big Lottery ‘Empowering Young People’ programme objectives

• Engage and develop effective partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders to create working relationships beneficial to children and young people who have experienced bereavement and loss. This will include both statutory agencies and voluntary/ community sector providers. Youthlife takes an outcomes based accountability approach to planning our services and assessing performance.
