Practice Leader (Nights)

The Practice Leaders will provide leadership to a team of Support Workers. They will be responsible for ensuring all current and newly referred individuals receive high quality, person centred supports. They will provide direct support to service users and to staff to ensure best practice is promoted and person centred support is evident and will uphold the organisation’s values of commitment, excellence, diversity, accountability and respect.

The Practice Leaders will ensure their own actions and behaviour complies with Cedar’s policy and procedures as well as statutory regulations and quality standards.

Hours:                                    37 hours per week

Contract:                    Permanent

Location:                    Johnston Way, Lisburn

Hourly Rate:             3-point scale commencing at;

      Point 1 - £9.31

Point 2 - £9.66

Point 3 - £9.98

Essential:                  

Numeracy & literate to keep records, handle clients finances, maintain records and write reports

NVQ 3 (Health & Social Care) or equivalent or willing to attain a Level 3 QCF qualification

Registered or applying for registration with the N. Ireland Social Care Council (NMC if nurse qualified)

Desirable:                 

Recognised qualification e.g. nursing / social work
