We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Policy and Influencing team in Northern Ireland.

 

Reporting to the UK Head of Policy and Public Affairs, the Policy Officer will be responsible for developing evidence-based policy positions on key issues affecting stroke survivors and those at risk of stroke in Northern Ireland.

 

You will prioritise and respond to government consultations and will horizon scan for key developments to ensure the Stroke Association is able to grow its influence.

 

You will have a passion for policy and improving the lives of stroke survivors as well as excellent analytical and communication skills, which you’ll be able to use to ensure our policy work is accessible and impactful.

 

You will be comfortable with using data from a range of sources and be adept at providing high quality policy insight and advice to colleagues at all levels.

This is a fixed term maternity cover until 31 July 2018 with a possibility of extension.
