The post-holder will be required to provide a quality service to lone parents and their children in our One Plus Centre in Derry. The person appointed will organise and manage a range of services aimed at both parents and children. These will include information sessions, parent and child sessions, and respite sessions. Applicants must have a relevant childcare qualification (NVQ 3 or equivalent); a valid First Aid Certificate would be desirable. At least two years recent work experience in the role of Supervisor or Leader within a similar environment is essential. The ability to plan and develop activities as well as supervise staff and volunteers is essential and/or day-to-day responsibility for running such a facility.
