Outreach Family Support Worker

Lisburn YMCA seeks to offer and deliver a wide range of needs led intervention and diversionary programmes.  These focused work programmes mix recreational with structured work with an aim of developing motivational, social and educational skills, for the benefit of those who may be at risk, marginalised, disadvantaged or excluded from everyday society.  We work in partnership with other agencies and community organisations to support all members of the community who are in need, equipping them to work towards a better future.

We are readvertising the following position:-

Outreach Family Support Worker                     REf:-  LYM - FSW - 003

The post holder will be responsible for delivering tailor made packages of support to young people / families in the Downpatrick  and Newtownards areas. 

12 hour position with the possibility of an increase to 20 hours per week pending funding.

The contract will be issued for an initial 6 months with the possibility of an extension

Salary:-          £19,886 - £22,804 pro rata
