NICVA is recruiting for an Open Data Analyst to work on a new project, Detail Data. The Detail Data project is a collaboration between NICVA and The Detail investigative news website.

The Detail Data project will connect a team of skilled journalists to a network of voluntary and community groups across Northern Ireland to help the organisations tap into the potential to turn data into a powerful resource for social change. Open Data Analyst job role
A critical strand of the project is the development of an online data store. The data store will be a central repository and signposting site for data of interest to civic society. The Open Data Analyst will play a key role in the development and running of the data store.

Apply for the role
- 2 years’ working experience finding, assessing, explaining and sharing data sets.
- 1 year’s experience providing advice and guidance to colleagues, external agencies or the general public on work related queries.
- Demonstrable experience of using online communication tools and writing for the web.
