WOMEN’STEC is seeking an unpaid volunteer to assist with Media, PR and Communications work for up to 3 half-days per week, for a period of six months. The successful applicant will play a key supportive role to the WOMEN’STEC team.
WOMEN’STEC is a charity based in North Belfast that provides education and employability programmes to women in the area of non-traditional skills (trades, information technology, and horticulture). Over the years we have engaged with hundreds of women, many of whom face social and economic barriers to realising their full potential. Our newly launched Supporting People – Empowering Communities (SPEC) programme provides training for more than 500 participants.
WOMEN’STEC is seeking applications for an unpaid volunteer to assist with Media, PR and Communications, for up to 3 half-days per week, for a period of six months. The successful applicant will play a key supportive role to the WOMEN’STEC team, and will gain hands-on experience of media/PR, campaigning, events and marketing activities.
