The Night Support Worker is part of the team whose function is to meet the practical, physical and emotional needs of individuals in receipt of services within the Cedar Foundation Supported Living Schemes.
The Cedar Foundation is seeking to recruit the following staff member:
Night Support Worker Ref: 17/28/NSW-WB/WEB
Through a key worker system, he/she will also have involvement in the designing of individual programmes of support and be responsible for delivering the accommodation support and care packages.
Hours: 35 hours per week including weekends
Salary: £7.65 per hour
Contract: Permanent
Location: Supported Living Services with primary location in West Belfast
Essential:
Numeracy & literacy (English language) skills
Demonstrable evidence of 6 months experience of providing physical care / support for individuals within the last 2 years
Registered or agreeable to applying for registration with the N. Ireland Social Care Council
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Be flexible to work on a rota basis that includes unsocial hours and weekends
Job references
Desirable:
NVQ 2 (Health & Social Care) or equivalent
English & Maths to GCSE grade C or equivalent
Knowledge of the needs of the client group(s)
