We are currently seeking applications for the following vacancy:

 Neighbourhood Regeneration Officer

REF: BHCP/2010/NROSEPT10

Salary Scale:        £22,485 Per Annum

Hours:                  37 hours a week

Tenure:                Fixed Term Contract (Until 31st March 2011 – Subject to funding)

Neighbourhood Regeneration Officers will work on behalf of the BHCP to support the Project Manager in the effective implementation and management of the BHCP Strategic Plan linked to the Outer West Neighbour hood Regeneration Action Plan.

Essential Criteria

• A 3rd Level Qualification in a relevant discipline with 2 years relevant experience in a community development capacity (paid), gained within the last 5 years

Or

• 5 years full-time paid experience in a community development capacity.

• Experience of project development and assessment, including monitoring, evaluation and measuring outcomes.
• The ability to work effectively and support partnerships which includes the community, voluntary, statutory and private sectors
