National Support Worker

Holocaust Memorial Day Trust (HMDT)

National Support Worker, £4,300 + reasonable expenses

One day per week from August 2013 to February 2014.

Role based in Northern Ireland.

For HMD 2014, the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust (HMDT) aims to increase the number of UK Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD) activities and develop creative and innovative local activities across the country.  To help us deliver these exciting initiatives, we want to employ Regional and National Support Workers who will act as our regional and national representatives.

Building on the development and success of Holocaust Memorial Day in 2013 HMDT Regional and National Support Workers will support existing HMD organisers and reach new audiences in their regions to increase both the numbers and quality of Holocaust Memorial Day activities.

Holocaust Memorial Day Trust is the charity that promotes and supports Holocaust Memorial Day in the UK. On Holocaust Memorial Day, 27 January, we share the memory of the millions who have been murdered in the Holocaust, under Nazi Persecution and in the subsequent genocides in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur, and challenge hatred and persecution in the UK today.
