Mental Health Housing Support Worker– Ref: 16/REC/472 and 16/REC/473

2 Positions available:

1. MHHSW Fortwilliam, 37.5hours per week, Permanent Contract.

2. MHHSW Carrick, 37.5hours per week, Fixed term contract for 6 months (possible extension)

Salary: £15,500- £17,916 per annum (pro rata)

MindWise is a leading membership charity which supports those affected by severe mental illness and other mental health difficulties and promotes early intervention.

MindWise supported housing services provide safe and supportive accommodation for individuals with severe mental illness and mental health problems. The service aims to encourage tenants to live independently in their own homes. They are progressive in their methods of identifying and meeting tenants needs within the service and in the wider community.

MindWise’s core principles convey our commitment to ensure that all those who use our services do so within a recovery framework. This offers a holistic approach to managing the adverse impacts of mental ill health and support in achieving a better quality of life. Support is based on a user lead/individualised, person centred approach, using the MindWise Outcomes Framework.
