Funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund, Drink wise Age Well is a UK-wide programme which aims to influence and inform policy and practice in preventing alcohol misuse among people, aged 50 and over.  Addiction NI lead the programme within NI in partnership with ARC Healthy Living Centre, Bogside and Brandywell Health Forum and Business in the Community.

 

The programme outcomes are:

•Better informed policy and practice about preventing alcohol dependency in later life

•Improved health and well-being for people aged 50 and over who are at risk of developing alcohol dependency

•The delivery of more effective services to prevent alcohol dependency amongst our ageing population.

Addiction NI are now recruiting for a Locality Administrator as part of the Drink Wise Age Well Team.  This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing and innovative organisation.

Job Title:                              Locality Administrator, Drink Wise Age Well

Reports To:                         Locality Manager

Grade /Salary:                     £22,658

Contract Type:                    Fixed Term (Maternity Cover for approx. 11 months)

Demonstration Area:         WHSCT area Office base will be in Omagh
