Living Seas is Ulster Wildlife’s vision for the future of the seas that surround us. The Living Seas Officer will be a passionate promoter our Living Seas vision and share our enthusiasm for the achievement of thriving marine wildlife from the ocean depth

Ulster Wildlife is looking for an experienced marine conservation advocate to join our Living Seas team.

This is a temporary post to 31 March 2016. 37.5 hours per week to include some weekends and evenings.

Salary:  £23,662 - £24,975. (Pro rata) 
Location:  Ulster Wildlife Offices, 10 Heron Road, Belfast.   
Contract: Temporary to 31 March 2016.  
Hours: 37.5 hours per week to include some weekends and evenings.  
Leave:  24 days per annum plus 12 days statutory holidays. (Pro rata)  

The post holder duties include: the development and delivery of an awareness campaign in relation to marine wildlife protection legislation; supporting the delivery of the Ulster Wildlife Skills for the Future project through recruitment, work planning, supervison, mentoring, teaching and assemement of Living Seas Trainees; coordinating the 'Shore Thing' initiative.
