We wish to recruit Support Workers for our supported housing service based in Taylor-Cheshire House, Belfast.

£7.20 per hour basic, plus enhancements for occasional hours, nights and weekends


Full time, 35 hours per week Occasional hours also available We wish to recruit Support Workers for our supported housing service based in Taylor-Cheshire House, Belfast.


LCD provides a range of care and support services for adults with disabilities across Northern Ireland. Support workers will be required to provide personal care and support to disabled adults with complex disabilities (including brain injury) living in their own home.


You will assist the Service Manager in maintaining professional standards of care and the provision of a high quality service which aims to achieve positive outcomes for disabled people, according to their wishes and legislative and regulatory requirements.


You will also have the ability to work flexible hours when required, and to travel to fulfil the objectives of the job. This will also entail attending relevant meetings and training which may be held at different locations.
You will work in partnership with people who use our services encouraging choice, participation and motivation, whilst adhering at all times to the values of the organisation.


NVQ/QCF level 2 in Care is desirable but not essential as all training will be given.Experience in working with people with complex disabilities and or brain injury would be an advantage.
