LCD3881 Support Worker (nights)

Part-time, 25 hours per week (nights)

£6.80 per hour plus enhancements for night-time working and additional 25p per hour for relevant NVQ/QCF qualification

The successful candidate is expected to provide assistance with personal support and other daily living tasks to disabled people within their own homes. Furthermore, they will work in partnership with the people who use the service, encouraging choice, participation and motivation, whilst adhering at all times to the values of the organisation.

Applicants must demonstrate a willingness to obtain QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care as well as undertake any training that is required (including updates). It is essential that applicants have the ability to maintain confidentiality, can travel to cover work allocated on the rota as well as attend relevant meetings and training which may be held at different locations. Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.  You must have the ability to work on your own (lone working) as well as work as part of a team. It is essential that applicants have the ability to maintain accurate, up-to-date records, can communicate effectively, and demonstrate an adequate level of IT skills.
