Intensive Family Support Worker

25 hours per week
£11,791 per annum
Fixed term until 30th April 2015

Job Purpose
To work intensively and flexibly over a 12 week period, i.e. out of hours including early mornings, evenings and weekends. Bryson Care Children’s Service aims to provide a customer focused service to families under stress, offering practical and emotional support to enable families to manage their daily lives with increased confidence and independence.
Essential Criteria
QCF Level 3 Child Care qualification or equivalent:
Diploma in Health & Social Care Level 3 Children & Young People
NVQ Level 3 Children’s Care, Learning & Development
National Nursery Examination Board - NNEB
CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Child Care & Education
CACHE Advanced Diploma in Child Care & Education
BTEC Higher National Diploma in Childhood Studies
BTEC National Diploma in Childhood Studies
Other essential criteria includes
Minimum of 6 months experience of working with children or families
5 GCSE’s at grade C and above including English Language (or equivalent)
6 months experience recording and reporting on work done
Full drivers licence and access to transport
