As a Housing Maintenance Co-ordinator, you will report to the Housing Manager and be responsible for the management and overseeing of all maintenance work to Homecare (HCIL) properties

Key Responsibilites will include;

• Develop HCIL maintenance and repairs procedures and ensure implementation
• To identify and resolve issues, this may be completed in conjunction with landlords/letting agents, Housing Executive and HCIL
• Plan and oversee all maintenance, repair and installation activities
• Allocate workload and supervise staff and contractors
• Manage relationships with contractors, tenants and commissioners and maintenance staff
• Report monthly on Maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and continually strive to increase efficiencies in all elements of maintenance in conjunction with Housing Manager
• Increase efficiencies in ‘turnaround’ time of void properties and manage tenant switch overs of gas and electricity
• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
• Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance
• Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
• Ensure all Housing policies and procedures are adhered to at all timesCarry out staff supervisions and appraisals
