Health Development Officer

ABBEY Sure Start is a dynamic, voluntary and statutory sector partnership funded by the Department of Education through the Northern Childcare Partnership Board to provide a range of services to families with children aged under 4.  The support services we offer are designed to encourage children to reach their social, emotional, physical and intellectual potential.  To help us deliver our support programmes we are recruiting for the following position.

HEALTH DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

(20 Hours per week/452 weeks per annum)                                                     

 Ref: HDO17 £17,491 (Pro Rata)

We are enhancing our team by recruiting a Health Development officer, working with families of 0-4 year olds to support improving the health and well-being of children and families.

The successful candidate will meet the Essential Criteria as per application pack.

It is essential that the person meets the travel requirements of this post.  It will involve travelling within the ABBEY Sure Start area and beyond.
