The Head of Public Affairs will manage all activities within the Public Affairs function. As part of the senior management team the post holder will contribute to strategic and operational planning and decision-making, and represent the organisation and the sector, as appropriate to Government, the media and other bodies. Applicants must have a minimum of five year's relevant work experience which includes all of the following:
a. Experience of managing a wide range of projects or activities at a senior level to include managing and leading a team.
b. Experience of working in a policy development role to include leading on consultations on social policy issues of interest to the voluntary and community
and submitting responses on same.
c. Experience of working with NI government departments, political representatives, the NI Assembly and voluntary and community organisations on policy issues.
