HEAD OF HOSPITALITY AND FACILITIES  (FULL-TIME/PERMANENT)

Base: Ballycastle
Salary Range: £32,072-£37,578

This post is responsible for leading the Hospitality and Facilities team to ensure:

Our residential and programme facilities offer a safe, hospitable and welcoming environment for all those visiting with us in line with the vision and mission of Corrymeela
The on-going development, management and safety of all our physical plant and facilities in line with the vision and mission of Corrymeela

 ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

The successful applicant should meet the following criteria:

5 years experience working in a hospitality environment particularly in a residential/hotel context
3 years experience in the leadership and management of staff and volunteer teams
An evidenced commitment to the mission and values of the Corrymeela Community
3 years experience of working with residential programme bookings/logistics/IT and management information systems
3 years evidenced experience in strategic and operational planning
Proven written and verbal communication skills
3 years experience in the management, development and maintenance of budgets of approximately  £750 - £850K
Proven knowledge and experience of property management/maintenance and sustainability in line with the Corrymeela Strategic Plan
Demonstrable knowledge of Health and Safety requirements in residential settings
Current full driving licence (Valid for use in the UK) and access to a car on appointment.  These criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport which will permit the applicant to meet the requirements of the post.
Satisfactory pre-employment check which will be conducted via Access NI (Corrymeela will conduct this prior to appointment).
