Conservation Volunteers Green Gym Model approach is to support community lead allotment projects across the Western Area, to reduce health inequalities, encourage physical activity, healthier lifestyles and an appreciation of the wider environment.

Salary: £19,418.76 per annum with potential to progress up to £28,855

Conservation Volunteers is the Northern Ireland operating name for BTCV, the UK’s leading practical conservation charity working with people from all sectors of the community in positive action to improve the environment.

This post if to use Conservation Volunteers Green Gym Model approach to establish and support community lead allotment and food growing projects across the Western Health Area, Fermanagh and Tyrone. Working to reduce health inequalities, encourage physical activity, healthier lifestyles and an appreciation of the wider environment.

Experience of horticulture, practical conservation, developing cross-sector partnerships, and project management are required. The ability to work with people from a range of backgrounds is desirable.

Working from home is an option.

A full driving licence is essential as you will be required to drive a minibus.
