Graduate Graphic Designer

An exciting opportunity for a graduate graphic designer to join the company’s Communications Team. This growing family business requires a creative, driven and innovative designer, ready to take on an exciting role with the leading national provider of domiciliary care.

The role will include the creation of the internal company magazine, web content and all other promotional requirements, as well as the ongoing creation and development of designs and concepts to be used as part of the company branding, advertising and development for use both online and in print.

Essential:

• Minimum 1 years experience within a design role
• Ability to work confidently using the following packages: Adobe Illustrator; InDesign; Photoshop; Microsoft Office
• Experience in website development and maintenance, creation of Ezines and other online media, with a good working knowledge of CSS, HTML, and other relevant packages
• Strong problem solving, analytical skills and design ability
• Demonstrate exceptional levels of creativity, motivation and innovation – a portfolio of previous work would be advantageous 
• Fantastic organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workloads in a fast paced work environment and meet tight deadlines while working alongside the marketing and design department
• Third level qualification in a design related discipline

Desirable:

• Previous experience working with health & social care industry
• Previous experience designing for print media and packaging
• Proven track record of building and developing concepts for brands and websites
