Our client Seaview Enterprises along with partners Crusaders FC and Newington YC, has secured finance through the Peace III programme to deliver a good relations focused project within the North Belfast and Newtownabbey area

Seaview Enterprises along with partners Crusaders FC & Newington YC have been awarded Peace III funding to deliver an education programme within North Belfast & Newtownabbey working towards the development of Giant’s Park Sports Village at North Foreshore. Working with a number of partners the Project Team will work with Schools (Primary/Post Primary), Community Groups and Youth groups to offer coaching qualifications, good relations training, suicide awareness, alcohol and drug abuse awareness, motivational and employability seminars. We hope to recruit:

 Good Relations Officer (Ref: SE01/12) - £23,000pa

Full time (35hrs) - This post will require a flexible working pattern which will include regular evening/weekend work. The post is fixed until 30th September 2014

 The Good Relations Officer will be responsible for the provision of a Good Relations programme to the various groups within North Belfast & Newtownabbey. The role will require someone with at least 2 years experience in working with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds with experience in developing, designing and delivering training programmes. It is also essential that the post holder has access to a car to fulfil duties required in their role. Sports Coaching Qualifications would be desirable but are not essential.
