Fundraiser

Key Responsibilities:

• To carry out the fundraising strategy of the organisation and work towards agreed financial and performance targets including initiating fundraising campaigns, applying for funding and submitting tenders.

• To support third party fundraisers ensuring their activities are consistent with current good practice.

• To identify and develop new and existing areas of income including schools, clubs, societies, churches and corporate funding.

• To support the development of fundraising groups utilising and building on the register of ‘Friends’ of Care in Crisis.

• Assist with marketing and PR work for all fundraising events using social media and the website and act as a spokesperson for Care in Crisis where appropriate.

• Undertake any other reasonable and related duties as required.
