The Floating Support service provides a range of interventions to assist young people in maintaining their own accommodation.
The post holder will be:
- Responsible for developing support packages within a team context that enables young people to gain the skills and confidence to manage their own tenancies.
- Develop new, innovative and alternative approaches to work with the client group.
Essential criteria:
- Degree in Social Work or Youth and Community Work.
- Six months case work experience of supporting vulnerable young people
- Experience of carrying out needs and risk assessments
- A full driving licence and access to a car
or
- Three years full time casework experience of supporting vulnerable young people
- Experience of carrying out needs and risk assessments.
