The Floating Support service provides a range of interventions to assist young people in maintaining their own accommodation.

 The post holder will be:

• Responsible for developing support packages within a team context that enables young people to gain the skills and confidence to manage their own tenancies.
• Develop new, innovative and alternative approaches to work with the client group.

Essential criteria:

• Degree in Social Work or Youth and Community Work.
• Six months case work experience of supporting vulnerable young people
• Experience of carrying out needs and risk assessments
• A full driving licence and access to a car

or

• Three years full time casework experience of supporting vulnerable young people
• Experience of carrying out needs and risk assessments.
• A full driving licence and access to a car

Hours of employment: 35 hours/week. Evening and weekend work will be required.

Salary: £20,710 and pension at 4% of salary
