Job Title: Finance & Admin Officer
Hours 10½hrs.. per week Flexible hours
Salary Scale £12.03 per hour
Duration: Up to End of March 2015.
Funded by: Community Investment fund

Main Purpose of Job; to ensure all finance & admin Procedures are fit for purpose and kept updated in accordance with all legal & funder’s requirements.

Responsibilities:

  1. To Support and assist when appropriate the operational management of the centre
  2. To be responsible for the daily financial running of the organisation, computerised and manual, in accordance with Greenway Women’s Group’s Finance & Admin Procedures.
  3. To be responsible for budgets and returns for funders, within the funders’ requirements, providing forecasts and timely revisions as necessary.
  4. To attend monthly budget meetings with Centre Manager, providing up to date information and support for budget management.
  5. To be  responsible for financial reports for Finance & Personnel Sub Group as when required
  6. To prepare project costing in conjunction with Centre Manager for funding applications as required
  7. To manage cash flow.
  8. Assist in the preparation of all statutory returns to the appropriate authorities
  9. Process computerised monthly payroll and ensure compliance with legal requirements and year end
  10. Prepare for and facilitate audit visits from funders and Accountants.
  11. Responsibility for fixed asset register
  12. Assist with recruitment for Finance & Admin department Liaise with insurers regarding claims and information
  13. Act as Pension Administrator
  14. Ensure that the lender process is observed according to funder’s requirements.
