Finance Assistant (Fixed Term 1 Year)

Overall Objective of the role:

The post holder will play a pivotal role in a small team, which is closely integrated with the rest of the charity.

To take responsibility for accurate recording and reporting of the charity’s first line finance functions and to support management and staff in dealing with finance issues, under the direction of the Finance Manager. 

Essential Criteria: 

• A financial qualification

• Ones years experience of working in an finance environment 

OR

• Three years experience of working in an finance environment

AND

• Experience working with financial accounting software packages in particularly Sage payroll and Sage 50 Accounts
• Experience of purchase ledger and sales ledger work. 

Special Conditions:         Initially 1 year fixed term post

                                           (with extension depending on funding)

Locations:                         303 Ormeau Road, Belfast, BT7 3GG

Hours of Employment:    35 Hours per week  

Holidays:                           30 Days per annum

Salary:                               £18,838 per annum and pension at 4% of salary
