J.I.V.T Ltd wish to recruit an experienced facilitator to lead the PEACE III funded MEMORIAL QUILTING PROJECT
Funding for faciliation is £25 / hour (inclusive of travel)
There will be 20 - 25 (maximum) participants who will each create a 6 inch x 6 inch patch with the faciliator's expert guidance and assistance . The faciliator will then be required to form a quilt with the finished patches for a hanging display.
Funding is also in place to purchase the necessary materials.
Requirements:
- Deliver a series of structured sessions / lessons as directed by the organisation
- Support and encourage learners at all times
- Provide a quality finished product within the funding timeframe
Essential Criteria:
- Possession of relevant qualifications (where applicable)
- Demonstrable experience teaching in area of expertise (where no formal qualification is evident)
- Minimum of two years’ experience working within a community setting, at least 1 of which must have been spent working with victims and survivors of terrorism.
