Facilitator for Memorial Quilting Project

The successsful facilitator will be required to undertake 60 hours during the months of September and October 2014.  These hours will take the form of weekly classes to be held in J.I.V.T Ltd's Tandragee offices, most likely in the evenings, as well as work from home if necessary   

Funding for faciliation is £25 / hour (inclusive of travel) 

 

There will be 20 - 25 (maximum) participants who will each create a 6 inch x 6 inch patch with the faciliator's expert guidance and assistance .  The faciliator will then be required to form a quilt with the finished patches for a hanging display. 

 

Funding is also in place to purchase the necessary materials. 

  

Requirements:

1. Deliver a series of structured sessions / lessons as directed by the organisation
2. Support and encourage learners at all times
3. Provide a quality finished product within the funding timeframe

Essential Criteria:

1. Possession of relevant qualifications (where applicable)
2. Demonstrable experience teaching in area of expertise (where no formal qualification is evident)
3. Minimum of two years’ experience working within a community setting, at least 1 of which must have been spent working with victims and survivors of terrorism.
