Disability Action works for the rights of disabled people.  We are aNorthern Irelandwide pan disability organisation working with disabled people with various disabilities; physical, mental, sensory, learning and hidden.

Disability Action wishes to appoint to the following position: -

Driver     Ref DRCKBG/14

(£14,800pa / 35 hours per week)

The Disability Action Transport Scheme (DATS) is a fully accessible transport service for individuals who have difficulty in using public transport.  The post holders will work as part of a team of Drivers providing the DATS service and successful applicants must have the following:-

• To be in possession of a D1 PCV driving licence (up to 16 people for hire & reward)
• Relevant driving experience that includes passenger transport.

Please note that there are 2 posts available.  While both posts are based out of our Belfast Office Post 1 will work primarily within the Carrickfergus / Newtownabbey area and Post 2 will work primarily within theBangor/ Newtownards area.

These posts are offered initially as a 12 month fixed term contract, which may be extended or become permanent.
