£18,453 pro rata (20 hours)
This post will operate over a 7 day rota including unsociable hours and occasional overnights.
Domestic Violence Helpline Worker - Night Post
£18,453 pro rata (24 hours)
The successful candidates will be required to work as part of a team handling calls, emails and text enquiries to the 24 hour Domestic Violence Helpline.
In addition you will be required to provide guidance and support to volunteers, who are a valuable asset to the team.
The following skills and experience are essential:
• Experience in providing information/counselling
• A high standard of verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge and understanding of the impact of domestic violence
• I.T literate
• Experience of recording and collating information
• Effective helping skills
