Director of Link

The Link Family and Community Centre is a community development organisation with a Christian ethos linking individuals, families, churches and communities. Originally born from Regent Street Presbyterian Church, The Link is an independent charity and company limited by guarantee with 8 full-time staff, 5 part-time staff and 60 volunteers. In addition to our youth project, project for adults with addictions, and volunteer led programmes The Link also has a second hand furniture social economy enterprise.

We are currently recruiting a DIRECTOR. The role will involve giving direction and providing the leadership that ensures The Link is recognised as “an active Christian presence in the community” both locally and regionally in Northern Ireland. If you are a committed and dynamic leader – this job is for you. The successful candidate will be based in our offices in West Street, Newtownards. The closing date for this post is 4pm on Monday 8th December 2014

Salary:  NJC Pts 37- 41 (£31,160 - £34,894)

Base:    Newtownards

Hours:  36 hours per week

N.B. Interviews will take place on Monday 15th December 2014

• This post is for one year in the first instance, at which time it will be reviewed.
• The successful applicant will be subject to an Access NI check.
• This post is 36 hours per week and may include evening work and occasional weekends, which will be paid on a TOIL basis.
