ChainHR, acting exclusively on behalf of our client, a leading charity in Northern Ireland, seek to recruit a F/T Permanent Digital Marketing and Fundraising Co-ordinator.

Based in Belfast, 35 hours per week, the salary scale is £21,492 - £24,426 commensurate with experience.  A flexi-time system is in operation and reasonable hours outside of this will be required to fulfil the duties of this position (some evening and weekend work).

Job Responsibility

The post-holder is responsible for implementing the digital communications plan to support the charity’s marketing and fundraising objectives. A key aspect of this role will be to constantly test fundraising content across all digital channels and to optimise results to maximise fundraising potential. The post-holder will be the main point of contact for internal teams for the day-to-day management of the website and development of new digital tools and platforms.

Essential Criteria

  • A 3rd level degree or equivalent qualification in marketing or related field and 1-2 years of experience in content creation skills or a demonstrable track record in Digital Marketing and Fundraising in a similar environment with at least 5 years of experience

  • Business-to-consumer direct marketing experience with a focus on acquisition and retention

  • Experience of budget management and an awareness of financial responsibility

  • Managing campaigns (e.g. an email campaign) from concept through to evaluation

  • Experience of planning, briefing and supporting the implementation of web enhancements and integrations

  • Excellent web and email copywriting skills

  • Experience of Wordpress, Google Analytics, Google AdWords and social media, email marketing and SEO

  • Experience of developing and implementing digital strategy to support KPIs and organisation objectives

  • Experience of using web-based design platforms to create infographics and other marketing materials; and video editing software to create and edit short social media videos

  • You should possess excellent creative, communication and interpersonal skills, be adaptable and organised team players, with the ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience of marketing and or fundraising within the charity sector

  • Basic knowledge of HTML

  • Good public relations and public affairs instincts
