We need an organised and creative person to provide information and signposting direct to people with dementia and their carers in Newry and surrounding areas, run monthly carer support groups, weekly dementia café and facilitate groups.
This post requires you to have excellent communication and IT skills; an understanding of person centred approach to the needs of people with dementia. Possess a relevant NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
An ability to travel independently around the area is essential for all posts as they will involve working in a range of community settings. Experience of working with volunteers will be an advantage for all posts. Due to the nature of these posts, a satisfactory disclosure from Access NI will be required before an offer of employment can be confirmed.
We are also looking to build up a waiting list for future recruitment in the South and West locality covering Armagh & Dungannon, Craigavon & Banbridge and Newry and Mourne .
