The Creative Fundraising Intern will bring an innovative, imaginative and entrepreneurial flair to WheelWorks fundraising activities.   He/she will be responsible for researching and developing creative fundraising ideas and new opportunities for securing sustainable income for the organisation. Other duties include working on operational and marketing tasks as appropriate.

Our vision is to forge new creative and inclusive spaces that inspire and empower individuals to express what matters to them. The role of Creative Fundraising intern involves working in a small team, reporting to the CEO, to implement the agreed fundraising strategy and to generate new revenue streams through various innovative fundraising initiatives. The focus of the work will be on creating online fundraising campaigns and increasing funds by researching, targeting and applying to charitable trusts and foundations, statutory and lottery organisations whose criteria match WheelWorks aims and activities.

We’re seeking a natural communicator with excellent writing skills who can turn complex information into persuasive copy. You’ll be well organised, have strong attention to detail, and be able to forge effective working relationships with colleagues and funders.

This is an Intern position part funded by Northern Ireland Creative Employment programme.

  • Applicants: Must be 18- to 24 years
  • Job Type: Fixed term, 30 hours per week.  Initially for 26 weeks (possible extension subject to funding).
  • Wage: £7.05 per hour
  • Location: Belfast
