The Postholder will support the Corporate Fundraising Manager to maximise income and profile from Corporate Fundraising in line with the NI Hospice Fundraising Strategy.

Essential Criteria:

 

Qualifications/Training/Experience

  • 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C) or equivalent qualifications

    (Applicants who do not have the specified minimum qualifications will be assessed on their ability to demonstrate, by virtue of experience and/or other relevant information, their competence to meet the demands of the post).

  • Strong IT skills with a working knowledge of MS Office

  • A full valid driving licence with access to a car or some other appropriate form of transport to carry out the duties of the post in full.

    Personal Skills and Abilities         

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work to deadlines

  • Knowledge of budgets and experience of meeting targets

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of people

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Experience of public speaking

  • Committed and enthusiastic

  • Flexibility and the ability to work unsocial hours as required, attending evening and weekend events throughout NI and beyond
