Community Relations Project Worker

Main Purpose of the job 

To leverage existing work and provide Community Relations training, policy development and capacity building programmes in a minimum of 18 individual schools within 3 collaborative geographical sets (Cookstown, Antrim and North Belfast). 

To develop strategic Community Relations plans and approaches for the engagement of senior school leaders, parents and staff in each of the 3 geographical sets.

Responsible to:          Senior Project Worker 

Salary:                         £24,000 (Pro rata = £12,000)

Hours:                         18.75 hours per week.

(This will include evening and residential work)

Contract:                    Fixed until end Sept 2013 (beyond that subject to funding)

Annual Leave:            22 days, plus 12 customary days (pro rata)

Start Date:                  Immediate Start

NB: Interviews are expected to take place in the fortnight following the closing date
