MindWise works to support individuals, families and carers affected by mental illness to achieve a better quality of life.
Resource centres provide much needed support for individuals with severe mental illness, their families and carers in the midst of local communities. They provide a flexible form of day care from which outreach work can be done, to help fully integrate the service user and carer into the community and avail of community support systems.
Everyone using MindWise community support services develops an individual recovery/support plan based on personal goals and outcomes. MindWise aim to promote personal responsibility and self-confidence through a solution-focused and recovery orientated approach.
