Community Development Officer

The purpose of the job is to provide a support mechanism through mentoring, build the capacity of individuals and groups in Carrickfergus using community development principles. A key aspect of the project is to assist groups to access and manage funding, attracting resources to the Carrickfergus Borough.

This post is 35 hours per week Monday to Friday. Given the nature of Community Development work and volunteers working within various communities, the CCF Community Support Officer will be expected to work outside these hours from time to time.  Time in lieu will be available for such hours worked.
