CLEAR Project Development Officer

Derry Healthy Cites, through funding provided by the Public Health Agency (PHA) wish to appoint a CLEAR Project Development Officer.  CLEAR is a capacity building project for community and voluntary sector organisations working in the fields of Suicide, Mental Health, Drugs and Alcohol. The role of the CLEAR Project Development Officer will be to support the Project Manager through the co-ordination of the PHA small grants funding scheme including monitoring outcomes and financial responsibilities for the small grants. Main responsibilities will also include the co-ordination, commissioning and delivery of relevant training programmes and networking events; provision of support and information to the Project Manager in relation to a range of activities that are undertaken within the project, attending appropriate networking and information events, developing a wide range of external networks, developing projects and providing information to the voluntary and community sector in relation to project activities as well as monitoring and evaluating activities relating to the project.

Applicants must have  a recognised Degree or equivalent qualification (NQF level 6) and one years experience within a relevant health improvement or community development environment or a least four years experience within a health improvement or community development environment. 

Interviews will take place on Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th June 2016
