Plus mileage allowance
Greater Belfast Area, Positions available in the following areas:
Ards Peninsula, North Down & Ards,
Lisburn, Downpatrick, Belfast
Full training will be provided
Job Purpose:
To support people in the early stages of dementia to enable them to remain in their own homes and enhance their quality of life.
Essential Criteria:
- Paid / unpaid experience in a caring role.
- Commitment to promoting and protecting the rights of vulnerable adults.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Access to transport in order to carry out the duties of the post.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience of working with people with dementia.
- GCSE (or equivalent) standard of education.
- Relevant qualification e.g. NVQ in Care.
- Knowledge of what dementia is.
