The Red Cross aims to work with vulnerable individuals so that they can withstand and recover from a Health and Social Care crisis and ensure that they can live with dignity and as independently as possible in their place of residence.
Our service offers the following tasks:
- shopping for essential items
- delivery of GP letters
- collection of prescriptions
- providing transport
- befriending
Requirements: Flexibilty, Full UK Licence, access to a car
Full Training will be provided – an AccessNI check is required for this role.
Volunteer expenses will be reimbursed – mileage rate 45p.
