We wish to appoint a Part Time Coordinator (24 hours per week) on a fixed term contract to deliver a programme ‘Campaigning Communities’ for a period of 18 months. Gross salary £23,500 pro rata (pension contributions will be deducted from this amount).

St Columb’s Park Reconciliation Trust opened in 1994 as a peace building charity offering a shared space for dialogue and community development. We host a range of outreach projects that animate communities and individuals to work together towards a fair, peaceful society where every individual feels valued and can make a positive difference.  We also operate as a social enterprise by generating some income from room hire, residential facilities and a café; any monies raised after costs are met are covenanted back to the charity.

We wish to appoint a Part Time Coordinator (24 hours per week) on a fixed term contract to deliver a programme ‘Campaigning Communities’ for a period of 18 months. Gross salary £23,500 pro rata (pension contributions will be deducted from this amount).

‘Campaigning Communities’ aims to work at an individual, community and governmental level to give people from marginalized communities a voice and power in decisions. By promoting capacity development, political involvement, inclusion and resilience within an environment of cooperation, we seek to co-create a model of meaningful engagement that can lead to positive change.

This project grew from research called ‘Peace Walls Community Voices’, which highlighted that people in local communities do not feel that they have a say in decision making processes that affect them and their communities. St Columb’s Park House is committed to a path for peace that addresses social justice issues and promotes the voices of people who are marginalised and often excluded.
